Kentucky vs. Auburn: Time, TV channel, how to watch SEC showdown

Kentucky has been nearly unstoppable in recent months, winning 15 of 17 games often in blowout fashion. But preseason top-25 program Auburn expects to test the Wildcats in Lexington on Saturday despite a season that has not gone as coach Bruce Pearl intended.

Auburn is 7-6 in SEC play, but it played Kentucky close last month, losing 82-80 in that contest. Pearl’s squad, though uneven, has picked up impressive results throughout the campaign  and is still likely headed for the NCAA Tournament.

Kentucky has benefited from a surge from forward PJ Washington, who averages almost 15 points and 8 rebounds per game for the season but has seen his production improve since the start of conference competition. Washington is flanked by guards Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro, as well as Stanford transfer Reid Travis.

The Wildcats will hope those players are enough to withstand Auburn’s own array of talented players, which includes standout guards Bryce Brown and Jared Harper.
