Ebanie Bridges’ opponent’s son ‘told Blonde Bomber to f*** off c***’ after win
Ebanie Bridges was allegedly told to 'f*** off c***' after beating Shannon O'Connell – by her opponent's son.
It comes after the Blonde Bomber defeated her bitter rival in the ring after months of jibes and insults. The rivalry was put to bed on Saturday night when Bridges defended her IBF bantamweight title in Leeds.
There was no love lost in the ring with both fighters taking serious chunks out of each other in a match-up that threatened to descend into all-out carnage. However, Bridges went up a gear as the fight went on and referee Howard Foster called a halt to the fight in the eighth round.

And taking to social media, the Australian boxer has since revealed that O'Connell's corner were piping up, including her son who allegedly told Bridges 'f*** off c***'. Supporting the champ from ringside was fellow boxer Skye Nicholson, who also got an earful.
Bridges said on Instagram: "When oconell [sic] looks at @skyebnic and says "f*** you s***". Apple doesn't far [sic] from the tree cos after that when I went to her corner her son said to me "f*** off c***".
"Imagine that being your mum tho. I think I'd rather have a mum who was in lingerie like a Victoria secret empowering women tbf but hey everyone has diff morals."
There had been tirades of abuse prior to the fight, including O'Connell calling Bridges a "skank" and a "fat c***" in the build-up. But the Blonde Bomber had the last laugh, including one savage blow that left her rival with a busted eye.
After the contest was ended by the referee, Bridges was in no mood to quell the ongoing feud. “Not bad for a skanky stripper I must say, not bad for a skanky stripper,” she said.
“I’m not usually disrespectful to my opponent but she was so disrespectful to me the whole time. So I can’t really give her that much respect – she can hit but.
"She can bang. She came, she was hungry, she was fierce. But I was better, and that’s why I’m the champion.
“I hope the world, I hope Australia is proud of me now. We know who the queen of Australian boxing is. I knew it was going to be the hardest fight of my career, and it was.”
