Fury could retire from boxing after Usyk catastrophe as he awaits seventh child
Tyson Fury could be on the verge of retirement again after the collapse of his fight with Oleksandr Usyk, according to his promoter Frank Warren.
After months of negotiations, both parties confirmed that talks had fallen through, with 'The Gypsy King' branded a disgrace by fans with his huge financial demands cited as a prime reason for the deal being scuppered. True to form, Fury himself posted a defiant social media video where he squarely blamed Usyk, throwing a string of bizarre insults the way of the Ukrainian.
But the WBC heavyweight champion had seemingly calmed down by later in the evening, taking to Instagram to share a picture with wife Paris as the couple enjoyed a film together. And the 34-year-old captioned the image with a revealing message, writing: "All is not lost! I get to date night with my beautiful pregnant wife @ParisFury1. God is great! Seventh baby incoming, fantastic news to cheer me up."

Despite doubts over the star's fitness following an elbow problem that required surgery, his trainer SugarHill Steward has insisted his man was in the right condition to take on Usyk. And now Warren has insinuated his boxing future is up in the air: “Everything's too raw at the moment," he told Seconds Out.
"Listen, he may retire. I don't know what he wants to do. He'll do whatever he wants to do. Tyson is very p***ed off because he has been in training constantly and it is not a conversation we have had yet. He will do whatever he wants to do, everyone sitting outside the ring with their comments but he is the guy who gets in the ring.

"Tyson wants to be out and he is frustrating but some things are just not meant to happen. Whatever he chooses to do but I am there with him. All I know is the facts that we can deal with is the facts that the WBA put out that Usyk's next fight is with Daniel Dubois so that is what we are working on."
However, Warren's comments are likely to prompt further cynicism from fans, given Fury claimed he was officially 'retired' from the sport last April following his KO win over Dillian Whyte. He later doubled down on the claim on Piers Morgan: Uncensored, even offering to pay the presenter £1 million if he went back on his word.
But he was soon calling out Anthony Joshua, but insisted the fight could be no later than December 3 as he was due to face Usyk in February 2023. That clash also fell through, with both parties left blaming each other.
Tyson and Paris welcomed their sixth child, Athena, in August 2021, as the star was building up to his trilogy clash with Deontay Wilder in America. Their daughter was initially admitted to ICU after complications with her birth, but mercifully, was later cleared to return home.
