KSI's return bout is reportedly in doubt after Alex Wassabi picked up an injury weeks out from the event.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer is set to step into the ring on August 27 for the first time since his rematch win over Logan Paul in November 2019. Fellow social media star Wassabi, who beat his brother Deji earlier this year, has been lined up as his opponent.
But Keemstar, host of internet news show DramaAlert, has claimed the American isn't fighting fit with three weeks until fight night. In a video uploaded to Twitter, he said: "Ladies and gentleman, this is breaking news. Wassabi is injured.

"Now I’ve heard two different injuries, I’ve heard concussions, I’ve heard a broken hand. It’s coming from a source from close to Wassabi’s camp. I have another source close to Wassabi’s camp.
"This is what is happening right now. I have double checked, I have crossed my t’s, dotted my i’s on this. Wassabi is injured. And there is a fear right now that he won’t be fighting KSI on August 27."
However, he was confident that Wassabi pulling out would not spell an end to the show. "Will the event be cancelled? No," he continued.

"I can tell you for a fact the event will not be cancelled, though, because I talked to Misfits Boxing (organisers of the event) months ago, and they've always said if someone pulls out of the fight they will be replaced.
"So I don’t think August 27 has any chance of ever being cancelled. But there is a chance we won’t see Alex Wassabi."
Shortly before the news broke, KSI tweeted "Life is so funny sometimes" along with laughing emojis. His rival Jake Paul, who had his own event at Madison Square Garden this weekend cancelled, posted "HAHAHHAHAHAHA KARMAS A B****" around the same time.
