Conor McGregor reached out to Ebanie Bridges before their “incredible” viral photo together which "broke the internet".
UFC legend McGregor arrived at the O2 Arena with IBF women’s bantamweight champion Bridges last Saturday to watch Anthony Joshua’s knockout win over Robert Helenius.
The Blonde Bomber turned up in eye-catching fashion, promoting the Irishman’s latest business venture by wearing shorts with his Forged Irish Stout branding etched across them. She threw it back to her ring girl days by donning a revealing crop-top as the two fighters watched the action ring-side.
Their marketing stunt attracted plenty of attention, with McGregor even taking it upon himself to give Joshua a sip of his beer in the ring. Now Bridges has revealed their collaboration “broke the internet” and left fans leaving comments like “incredible” under their Instagram picture.

Speaking to Boxing King Media, Bridges explained how their friendship developed from McGregor supporting her success in women’s boxing. The Australian recalled him messaging her online with advice to ignore the haters, before they eventually met in person at Katie Taylor’s fight with Chantelle Cameron earlier this year.
A photo showing McGregor’s hand “dangerously” close to Bridges’ assets went viral in the aftermath of their meeting. And it encouraged the former UFC two-weight champion to reach out to get Bridges to promote his stout.
Bridges explained: “They couldn't stop writing about me and him. He’s a smart businessman, he always makes good business moves. Being a friend I want to support his brand as well. He reached out to me and said ‘Hey, do you want to be part of the team and help promote my stout?’
“What better way to promote than get pictures with the Blonde Bomber at an Anthony Joshua fight, wearing your gear. It worked didn’t it because we broke the internet again and everyone’s talking about it?
“It’s just business, really. He knows exactly what I’m worth and I’m a valuable asset to his brand. We’re everywhere. We’re going to work together more in the future so keep your eye out.”
Bridges went on to tease that McGregor could ‘back’ one of her fights in the future. The 36-year-old hasn’t fought since she successfully defended her belt by demolishing Shannon O’Connell in December 2022, as she rehabs after suffering a hand injury.
