Tyson enters talks with Paul as YouTube idiot vows to "shut people the f*** up"

Logan Paul has revealed that he is in talks with heavyweight stalwart Mike Tyson over a potential bout, as the YouTube sensation looks to ‘shut people the f*** up’.

Rumours about the pair facing off in the ring began to circulate in February – which Tyson quickly laughed off – but the former heavyweight champion did confirm that ‘anything is possible’.

And now it seems the fight could well be set to take place, after Paul revealed that he is fed up of fans writing off his chances of defeating the 55-year-old veteran.

A number of fans across social media were heavily tipping Tyson to easily defeat the YouTube star despite the 29-year age gap between the pair.

Therefore, Paul is ready to prove his doubters wrong and show he can be the man to defeat one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time.

Paul told SecondsOut there had been talks: “As of now there's nothing – I mean, look we've been kind of talking about it, it's been kind of possible for a little bit.

"It's been pinned. Then there's rumours started circling, whatever we didn't say anything and then it got confirmed that it wasn't happening.”

He went on to confirm that a potential bout with Tyson is something he was not even considering as he looks to continue his climb in the professional boxing world, but now felt ‘upset’ that he was being doubted by many.

The 26-year-old added: “I was like reading the tweets and the social commentary and everyone was saying, 'Tyson would f***ing kill Logan'.

"So a fight that I initially hadn't even considered, is now like people actually don't think that I would win, this is actually offensive.

“And I started getting upset and now I'm kind of considering it just to shut people the f*** up. I find it absurd that people don't think I can beat Mike Tyson."

Iron Mike enjoyed a truly remarkable 20-year career and retired in 2005, before making his return to the ring in November 2020 when he drew with Roy Jones Jr in an eight-round exhibition fight.

The boxing legend then confirmed he would be returning to the ring in February of next year, and many have speculated that the opponent could well be Paul.

However, the YouTuber does have his concerns about the bout against a ‘legend’ who he ‘loves and respects dearly’.

Paul continued: “What's the f***ing win here? I'm proving everyone wrong and saying, 'Yeah, I did it!'

"Like a legend, who I respect and love dearly is sitting on the floor. Like, how much money is that worth? F*** that."
