Tyson Fury compares Jake Paul to ‘roadkill’ as he trains brother Tommy

Heavyweight champ Tyson Fury has compared Jake Paul to "roadkill" ahead of the YouTuber's fight with his younger brother Tommy.

Tommy is set to face Paul in Tampa, Florida on December 18 – the Love Island favourite's eighth professional bout and first pay-per-view event.

In the video, Tommy and his team are doing press ups with Tyson shouting: "Come on T, down boys. We push it further than any motherf***** knows.

"This is the difference in winning and losing a world championship… push it!"

Tyson then zooms in on some roadkill and says: "Oh, look here, Jake Paul's come to watch the training. Hiya little Jake, what's happening?

"That's what he's going to look like after Tommy's finished with him."

Tyson, the reigning WBC, Ring and lineal heavyweight champion, has been giving Paul plenty of stick ahead of next month's bout.

The YouTuber, who boasts a 4-0 record, recently played a voice message from the Gypsy King. He said: "We're coming for you Jakey boy, you're getting annihilated Jakey!"

Paul doesn't seem to mind the banter, responding: "We're going back and forth in the DMs right now, me and Tyson, sending each other voice messages. It's pretty funny.

"I'm calling his brother a squid, he's saying he's going to annihilate me.

"It's amazing bro, you can't hate the guy, I want to make that clear to everybody, I love Tyson, I love that he's involved, he's a great entertainer.

"I just have to end his brother's career, unfortunately, that's just the way it is, but after me and Tyson can still be friends, it's all good."

Tyson has refused to bring Tommy home if he loses to Paul, while the YouTuber has compared himself to boxing greats Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather.

Giving his prediction ahead of the fight, Tyson said: "If Tommy can't splatter Jake Paul, I'll retire him from boxing myself. If he can't beat Jake Paul, forget about boxing.

"Because he's got ambitions of being a world champion, never mind beating some YouTube guy. But it's a great fight for the social media world and for all the kids out there who support them both.

"It's a great fight to watch, it's a spectacle. But Tommy – his name's Fury. If he can't beat Jake Paul, I'll have to change his name."

Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has agreed with Tyson's prediction, although he doesn't believe Tommy can emulate his brother's success.

Is Tyson Fury the best British boxer in history? Have your say!

He said: "I have only seen Tommy Fury beat up a couple of guys who you or I could have beat, and then had four rounds in his last fight where he looked pretty average.

"But he is a boxer, and he is Tyson Fury's brother. If he loses he should go to a desert island and not come back – it'll be tough for him.

"The fact Jake Paul is taking the fight shows he believes he can win the fight. In that sense, I make him the favourite, but that doesn't say a lot about Tommy."
