A punter will be all smiles after investing some of his £92,000 winnings on a new set of teeth.
Alan Roberts turned £18 into the huge sum, after all five horses in his accumulator romped to victory.
The stunning results went his way on September 23 at Newmarket and Pontefract racecourses.
Roberts, a former Royal Dragoons tank regiment paratrooper, also plans to spend some of his windfall from bookies Betfred on a UK break.
“I’ve been bothered about my teeth, which are basically rotten, for some time. I just need some new ones and then I won’t be self-conscious about them anymore," the 39-year-old said.
“It’s the first thing I’m going to do, and then I’m going on holiday in Scarborough with my mother.
“She’ll be back from Benidorm by then, so hopefully she’ll come along with me.”
None of the Yorkshireman's picks were favourites with the bookies – and he took a gamble with his very first selection.
Subastar, the horse to start the dream run, had never raced before, so it took a leap of faith to include him in the bet.
Then 35 minutes later, Desert Angel overcame a slow start to win a nursery event at double-figure odds.
Third to compete was Gale Force Maya, who just did enough to hold on in a tight finish to a sprint.
Leg four was the easiest success of the lot, as strong stayer Nayef Road galloped clear of his rivals by six lengths in the Listed Jockey Club Rose Bowl Stakes.
Roberts had to wait another 45 minutes for his final tip to run, a horse named Saluti.
It looked promising when the handicapper made smooth headway on the outside of the field, but he hung to his left in the closing stages.
There was some bumping and barging, as Saluti held a half-length supremacy at the line.
This led to a stewards inquiry, but thankfully for Roberts, the placings remained unaltered.
Saluti's jockey Paul Mulrennan was suspended for five days for careless riding as he had failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount from continuing to drift left causing interference to the runners on his inside.
Thrilled by the win, Roberts added that he is thinking about starting a caravan park business, in addition to getting his teeth fixed.
Betfred boss Fred Done said: “I’m chuffed to bits to be putting a permanent smile on the face of regular customer Alan.
“This hard-working fella who has served his country when he was younger deserves all the luck in the world. He’s already taken a bite out of my profits even without his new teeth."
Earlier this year, another small stakes bettor won big at the Cheltenham Festival.
From an ante-post £2 stake, they walked away with £112,000, when Minello Indo took the feature Gold Cup.
At the same meeting, Paul Dean scooped £250,000 after putting on £5.
Some late drama led to him partially cashing out and the last horse in the bet, hot favourite Envoi Allen, fell during the race.
