Check out their best and value bets:

BRAD WATERS (Racenet) Form: 255×6

DEGRAVES (Race 6, No.8 – $2.70)

Was simply too good for a handy field first-up and will strip much fitter for that. He’ll be awfully hard to beat with only 52.5kg on his back.

Value bet: MIDSHIPS (Race 7, No.3 – $34)

GILBERT GARDINER (Herald Sun) Form: 21342

SIR DAVY (Race 2, No.5 – $5)

Cluttered up in traffic and never got a shot at them in the Listed AR Creswick Stakes last starts. Drops in grade and better around the bend.

Value bet: PINYIN (Race 7 No. 8 – $10)

CHRIS VERNUCCIO (Racing News Editor) Form: 43512

DEGRAVES (Race 6, No.8 – $2.70)

The money came for the Lloyd Williams import in his first Australian run and he delivered. Although he way wayward approaching the winning post, there is so much potential with him.

GLENN McFARLANE (Herald Sun) Form: 43341

LINDHOUT (Race 3, No.7 – $2.25)

Talented mare going great guns for Enver Jusufovic who can go on with the job here

Value bet: ZORRO’S DREAM (Race 5, No. 10 – $4.60)

SIMON MOY (NewsRacing) Form: 473×5

SOUTH PACIFIC (Race 8, No.3 – $2.25)

Dominant performance to salute last time at Flemington. Will appreciate the soft conditions again.

Value bet: VEGAS KNIGHT (Race 4, No.11 – $3.90)

NICK QUINN (TAB) Form: 133×2

SOUTH PACIFIC (Race 8, No.3 – $2.25)

Won his first race in Australia last start with a dominant 3¾-length victory against a similar field that he will face on Saturday. Will be worth sticking with as he races through the grades.

VALUE BET: Surf Dancer (Randwick, Race 8, No. 5 – $5)

RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph) Form: 22156

GREAT HOUSE (Race 7, No.7 – $3.10)

Great House finished powerfully to win first-up at Rosehill over 1500m then went out to 1800m and took a few strides in the straight to balance up but he did charge to the line to finish a close third. Promising stayer fitter for two runs from a spell and handles rain-affected conditions. Stays at 1800m but this race should be run at a genuine tempo. He’s destined to win a good race in the spring and is expected to demonstrate his emerging staying talent.

Value bet: EIGHT DIAMONDS (Race 9, No. 13 – $4.80)

CLINTON PAYNE (Racenet) Form: x3x25

ANETHOLE (Race 2, No.2 – $3.90)

Has closed off strongly both runs this prep, the latest when not fully tested in the straight. Back in class and carrying the same weight after Tom Sherry’s claim. Even luck and he’ll take holding out.

TRENTON AKERS (Courier Mail) Form: 81431

DERULO (Race 8, No.2 – $7)

Former North Queenslander is in the form of his life after joining the in-form Kacy Fogden stable. On the short back-up but has drawn sweetly here again with question marks over race favourite Triple Ace’s ability to see out the 1200m trip at Eagle Farm.

Value bet: AURON (Race 5, No. 5 – $9)

NATHAN EXELBY (Sky Racing) Form: 31191

DERULO (Race 8, No.2 – $7)

Airborne at the moment, as is the stable. Posted strong figures winning at the Gold Coast, then put older horses to the sword at the Sunshine Coast last Sunday. Now on the quick back-up. Triple Ace brings strong form from the south, but hoping this guy can be stronger at the end of 1200m and at better value.

Value bet: LONDON BANKER (Race 6, No. 5 – $7)
