Stephen Brassel runs the rule over the eight-race program at Echuca as he searches for winners to kick the week off on a positive note.
The track is rated a Good 4 with fine weather forecast.
HELLION OF CLUSTER
(R3 No. 7 – $2.90)
Only start was $6 into $4.20 when third in Moonee Valley 2YO fillies event. Resumed after 59 weeks but had a good clean-out when not knocked about in recent Cranbourne trial.

(Race 1 No. 3)
Should be right at his peak after three runs back from a spell and with a slow pace from an inside gate expect he’ll go forward and prove too good for a moderate lot.
(Race 5 No. 7 – $5)
Has been racing consistently for Patrick Payne stable and looks placed to advantage in a moderate field going back to Benchmark 58 company.
He misses the first couple of races but from there Jamie Mott could well clean up the card. HELLION OF CLUSTER (R3 No. 7 – $2.90), THE ADMIRAL (R4 No. 8 – $2.15), ALOVELYBROWNHORSE (R5 No. 12 – $7.50), VANCOUVER LAD (R6 No. 2 – $3.50), NEVERSHOTTHEDEPUTY (R7 No. 8 – $2.25), MISS SARATOSA (R8 No. 6 – $4.60).
