Conor McGregor has never been shy about flaunting his wealth on Instagram and the Irishman’s latest eye-wateringly expensive purchases have set social media abuzz ahead of his blockbuster rematch with Dustin Poirier on Saturday.
McGregor showed off a glittering $1million (£740,000) watch to his 38.3m followers and also posed in a new Rolls-Royce with his son Conor ahead of his bout at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi.
The timepiece, called the Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette, was manufactured by Manhattan-based jewellery company Jacob & Co..
In an Instagram post, Jacob & Co. said the watch ‘is composed of a magnificent Jacob-Cut 288-facet diamond spherical diamond that reflects every ray of incoming light, illuminating the night sky throughout its 60-second rotation around an independent axis’.

McGregor announced his retirement from the sport for the third time in four years in June 2020 after a devastating knockout of Donald Cerrone in January, but is now back again to fight Poirier.
The American has a 26-6 record in MMA, but was knocked out for the first time in his career by McGregor at UFC 178 in Las Vegas in September.
McGregor’s latest fight comes hot on the heels of more incendiary comments about his long-time rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, who made McGregor submit in the fourth end of their fight in 2018 before scaling the Octagon to try and attack McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis, leading to an all-out brawl between the two camps.

Ever the trash-talker, McGregor said on Sunday that he would ‘destroy’ Khabib if they faced each other again.
When asked about Khabib’s recent retirement he told ESPN: ‘I think he’s afraid to fight me. That’s for damn sure. And I don’t blame him. I know exactly what to face.
‘I fought the best of him that night, he fought the worst of me on that night. He knows it, I know it, his team knows it.
‘I’ve the answer to destroy that man. He can pull the wool over people’s eyes for only so long.’
