Brigid Kosgei, 25, finished the Chicago Marathon in record time on Sunday and eclipsed a 16-year-old women’s marathon world record. The Kenyan runner finished the race in two hours, 14 minutes and four seconds. The previous record was held by Britain’s Paula Radcliffe who ran the London marathon n two hours, 15 minutes and 25 seconds in 2003.
