Logan Paul has claimed he obliterated his knee during his match with Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel last night. In what was just his third match in the company, the YouTube sensation turned in a sensational performance and came agonisingly close to shocking the world on multiple occasions.
His impressive athleticism was on show for all to see, which included a frog splash and a cross-body jump from the top rope. He also produced a phenomenal elbow on the ‘Tribal Chief’ from the top rope to the announce table, which he captured from a personal point-of-view camera shot, with the footage going viral on his social media accounts.
In a fun and pulsating encounter that featured Bloodline members The Usos and Solo Sikoa, and a cameo from Jake Paul, Reigns rose above the chaos and delivered a hellacious spear to Logan, and pinned him to seal an important victory. It was a valiant effort by the 26-year-old but he is now paying the price for his exploits, as he told fans he has suffered some injuries to his right knee.

Paul posted a snap on social media with ice on his knee while grinning for the camera following his physically gruelling match. However, his concerning update read: “Torn meniscus, MCL & potentially ACL. Happened halfway through the match. keep y’all updated.”
Paul later posted a video of himself being pushed in a wheelchair by partner Nina Agdal, who appeared to have taken him to hospital for medical treatment.
Paul’s performance is all the more remarkable given the injuries sustained during the bout and he is said to have carried on for at least ten more minutes.
If he is found to have torn his ACL (anterior-cruciate ligament), the combat star could be out for six to nine months. This may jeopardise his return to boxing which he had eyed in January on the Misfits Boxing card, set to be announced by his friend and fellow YouTuber KSI in the coming days.
He was linked with a host of opponents, including MMA fighter Dillon Danis and controversial ex-kickboxer Andrew Tate. Late last month Paul told MailOnline Tate was an option, only for the outspoken online personality to insist on warm-up bouts beforehand and the social media megastar was not impressed.
Who should be Logan Paul's next WWE opponent? Let us know in the comments section.
“We ran into that issue with Andrew Tate, he wants warm-up fights," Paul said. "I saw a thing recently, he accused me of doing steroids which historically has been the accusation that people throw if they're threatened by me. I've been accused of doing steroids my whole life just because I have muscles and genetically it is a little easier for me to get in shape for whatever reason.
“But never done them, never will, and I find that a lot of the people that I would like to fight, because I know how big the shows can get, simply just wanna talk. They want that clout online and they don't actually want to sign the dotted lines."
