Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal has put his Florida mansion back on the market after a potential sale fell through.

A buyer had been found in January for his £12m property though contracts fell through with Shaq desperate to sell.

The 49-year-old, who won four NBA championships, had originally put his house on the market in May 2018 for $28m (£20m).

He was forced to regularly lower the price and is believed to have initially accepted a $16.5m (£12m) offer earlier this year.

Whoever does end up buying the property is getting a mansion that holds 12 bedrooms, 11-and-a-half bedrooms and lots of extras.

It sits between Lake Louise and Lake Butler on the outskirts of Orlando, pitched up next to the water around tropical trees, with former LA Lakers and Miami Heat star O’Neal buying it in 1993.

A huge chef’s kitchen is kitted out with the latest specs, with a giant breakfast bar around the edge and a dining room table that can seat 12.

It leads out onto a huge patio, where a swimming pool that’s longer than one used by Olympians can keep the owner cool in the Florida sun.

A jacuzzi is also available while new owners can relax in another way by enjoying the cigar lounge, situated on the top floor with views over the lakes.

While a wine storage, three fireplaces and a lakefront office offer lots of options for a quiet getaway.
