Paige Spiranac has blasted Australian sport commentator Francis Leach for criticising her saucy newspaper advert this week – branding him a “coward”.
Leach hit out at a Melbourne-based newspaper for running an advert which shows the golf star, who has a whopping three millions followers on Instagram, wearing a low-cut red dress.
He wrote on Twitter: “At a time when the objectification and abuse of women, reducing them to being little more than playthings for men is being exposed for what it is, how can @theage run garbage like this for revenue.
“It’ll editorialise in the front, cash in at the back. Hypocrisy.”
It’s fair to say Leach’s comments didn’t go down well with Spiranac, who fired back at the TV figure with a number of furious replies.
She first quote tweeted his post and simply wrote: “F*** off.”
The American then added: “Tag me next time you coward. My name is right there.”
Spiranac then replied to several other comments from Twitter users who joined in with the debate.
One user accused her of being “dangled for male attention”, to which she replied: “I’m sorry I was born with t***. I’m not going to hide them because your pea brain can’t comprehend the fact a woman can be smart, strong, and sexy.”

Earlier this year Spiranac blasted men for body shaming her, writing on social media: “It’s crazy I can be told I look too fat, too skinny, too plastic, too old, wearing too much makeup, not enough makeup, boobs too big, butt not big enough, too pale, hair too blonde, not blonde enough all in one day.
“Guys it’s not a Build-A-Bear workshop over here. Calm it down.”
