Rugby ace dated award-winning porn star and is friends with Prince of Monaco

Former Rugby Union star Byron Kelleher took no prisoners during his playing career – and he also had a wild side that he showed away from the field.

Kelleher was a scrum-half who turned out for the likes of Toulouse and also clocked up 57 appearances for New Zealand before hanging up his boots for good back in 2012. The 45-year-old won the Heineken Cup back in 2010 during his stint in France, but he's made just as many headlines away from rugby as he has on the field down the years.

During the early years of his career, Kelleher rose to prominence after dating porn star Ashley Spalding, who is better known as Kaylani Lei.

The pair reportedly met in a "hedonism resort" back in 2004 and were together for over 18 months. The duo were even dubbed as a raunchy version of Posh and Becks, and Lei has since gone on to win numerous adult movie awards since their split.

After parting ways with Lei, Kelleher then shacked up with Julie Noves – the daughter of Toulouse manager Guy Noves. The duo were involved in a car accident, where Kelleher was charged for driving under the influence of alcohol and assault.

Kelleher has also rubbed shoulders with his fair share of celebrities down the years – including the the Prince of Monaco.

Kelleher has also been embroiled in numerous incidents away from rugby, but the All Blacks star has settled down since finding love with Yuliana Desta, an international flight attendant.

The pair met back in 2018 and currently live between Bali and New Zealand, where they run a property business together.
