Cordarrelle Patterson ties NFL record for most kickoff return touchdowns in Bears’ MNF game vs. Vikings

The Chicago Bears' Cordarrelle Patterson tied an NFL record with his eighth career kickoff return for a touchdown, going 104 yards to open the second half against the Minnesota Vikings on "Monday Night Football."

Patterson's coast-to-coast score gave the Bears a 13-7 lead.

Patterson tied Josh Cribbs and Leon Washington atop the NFL's career kick return touchdown list. Cribbs had eight kickoff return touchdowns during his tenure with the Cleveland Browns. Washington accumulated his return scores while playing for the New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks.

Patterson started his career with the Vikings and recorded five of his return touchdowns in his four seasons with the team. He had one kick return touchdown in 2018 as a member of the New England Patriots, and added another in 2019 with the Bears.
