Dolphins S Reshad Jones removed himself from win over Jets, coach Adam Gase says

Dolphins safety Reshad Jones apparently chose to leave the field early Sunday.

The 30-year-old pulled himself from Miami’s 13-6 victory over New York after two defensive series, coach Adam Gase told reporters. Jones did not address the media after the game, according to ESPN.

Adam Gase said that Reshad Jones pulled himself out of the game. Dolphins players hush hush on the matter, deferring to coaches. Jones not in the locker room to speak to us.

Jones tallied one tackle before he left the victory. He was replaced by Minkah Fitzpatrick, who the Dolphins selected out of Alabama with the 18th pick in the 2018 draft.  

Jones, a two-time Pro Bowl player, has recorded 35 total tackles and two interceptions in seven games for Miami this season.
