NFL free agency: Cardinals sign TE Charles Clay

It didn’t take long for Charles Clay to find a new team.

The Cardinals on Tuesday announced they have signed the free-agent tight end to a one-year deal.

According to ESPN, Clay’s contract is worth up to $32.5 million and includes a $350,000 signing bonus.

Welcome to AZ, @C42Clay!

Clay, who turned 30 last week, was initially selected by the Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2011 draft but agreed to a deal with the Bills in 2015 after Miami elected not to match Buffalo’s offer.

The Bills released Clay last week.

Clay caught 21 passes for 184 yards and no touchdowns in 2018.
