New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas, the reigning AP Offensive Player of the Year, is dealing with an injury worse than expected.
Thomas’ high-ankle injury, which originally looked as if he would try to play through it in Monday’s game against the Raiders, is now expected to force him miss several weeks, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Around The NFL will have more shortly. Thomas is as tough as they come and surely will try to defy that timeline. But it’ll be a battle.
