Week 4 Fantasy WR Rankings

It’s kind of amazing how much the wide receiver landscape can change every week. Antonio Brown is gone for good (maybe), T.Y. Hilton and Julian Edelman are dealing with injuries, Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson are must-starts, Stefon Diggs is just another dude, and Zach Pascal might actually have value this week. (Yes, the Zach Pascal). Throw in QB injuries that still have the jury out on Michael Thomas and JuJu Smith-Schuster despite touchdowns last week and another QB injury (Cam Newton) that might actually benefit its team’s receivers, and you have a Week 4 fantasy WR rankings that figure to see a lot of adjustment over the next seven days.

Just be glad we don’t have any significant receivers from the Jets and 49ers on bye this week or things would get really complicated.

WEEK 4 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end (coming soon)

With just three games played, it’s still tough to know what’s a trend and what’s an aberration. Someone like DJ Chark, who’s scored in every game this year, is obviously due to regress, but how much? On the flipside, which Calvin Ridley is going to show up this week — the one who seemed like an heir apparent to Julio Jones in Week 2 or the one who saw just one target in Week 3? While some players look like they’re going to be season-long disappointments (Jarvis Landry, Corey Davis, Will Fuller), others continue to shine (Chark, Tyrell Williams). As much as we try to trust the talent, some trends can’t be ignored. We saw guys like John Ross and Hollywood Brown come back to Earth last week, but overall they still look more good than bad.

Heading into Week 4, there are plenty of matchups that stand out, both as favorable (Sterling Shepard vs. Redskins; Terry McLaurin @ Giants) and bad (Diggs, Adam Thielen @ Bears, John Brown vs. Patriots). It can be tough sit a normally productive player, but the numbers are getting to be more reliable, so don’t necessarily just start who you always start. It’s time to adjust.

Reminder:  These rankings will be adjusted throughout week, so check back often for the latest updates and analysis!
