Fernando Alonso's reaction to Max Verstappen's flying Saudi Arabia Grand Prix qualifying lap and crash was caught on camera in must-see footage.
Verstappen was pushing to the absolute limits in his attempt to secure pole position for Formula One's inaugural Saudi race.
The Dutchman was set to put his Red Bull car in P1, but hit the barriers after the very last corner of the track.
While the drama unfolded, Alonso was being interviewed in the media pen after being knocked out in Q2.
He, along with fellow Q2 knockout Daniel Ricciardo, couldn't keep his eyes off the action, though.
The Spaniard's interview with Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport was put on hold as the Alpine and McLaren drivers watched on.
Alonso was left wide-eyed as Verstappen went perilously close to crashing in the first two sectors.
Ricciardo was visibly shocked as he saw the championship leader go even quicker than rival Lewis Hamilton.
And then as Verstappen's rapid lap came to a crunching halt, Alonso took a massive step backwards as shock came over his face.

The facial expressions of both drivers caught the attention of many F1 fans online who were fascinated by the watch along.
The two men have decades of experience between them, but both watched on in amazement.
After taking in what he had just witnessed, Alonso said: "Ok. He was pushing, he was pushing.
"Hey, the race is tomorrow, not today," he chuckled.
The crash meant Verstappen will start Sunday's race in third position.
Mercedes secured a front-row lockout with Hamilton keeping pole and Valterri Bottas alongside him in P2.
That could be extremely influential in the title-race, with overtaking looking a tricky task round the tight track circuit.
Verstappen has a lead of just eight points in the championship heading into the final two races of the season.
