Final Six Nations 2020 fixture date, kick-off times and TV channels

After a gap of more than seven months the Six Nations finally resumes on Saturday.

Ireland take on Italy in the first match since Scotland beat France 28-17 at Murrayfield in early March.

This year’s tournament ground to a halt on March 8, with one full round of fixtures to be played, as well as the last of the fourth round games.

Now, the competition can resume, but without the vast crowds that normally fill the stadiums.

When the Six Nations was halted, England and France were level on 13 points from four games, with Eddie Jones’ side top of the table on points difference.

Scotland sit third with 10 points from their four fixtures, before Ireland on nine points from three games.

Wales, last year’s champions, are fifth with seven points with Italy, who have so far failed to register a single victory, bottom and without a point.

Six Nations 2020 fixtures

The first of the four remaining Six Nations fixtures is Ireland vs Italy in Dublin, which starts at 3.30pm on Saturday.

That’s followed by the round five fixtures the following weekend, with all games on Saturday October 31.

It starts with Wales vs Scotland at 2.15pm at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, followed by Italy vs England in Rome at 4.45pm. The final match of this year’s tournament is France vs Ireland at 8.10pm.

Six Nations TV channels

Rights for Six Nations TV coverage are split between the BBC and ITV.

Both broadcasters have two of the remaining four fixtures.

ITV will be showing Ireland vs Italy from 2.45pm on Saturday, as well as Italy vs England (4.45pm kick-off) on October 31.

The other two final-day fixtures – Wales vs Scotland (2.15pm) and France vs Ireland (8.10pm) – will be broadcast by the BBC.

Grand Slam, Triple Crown and Calcutta Cup

A number of the trophies competed for between the Six Nations teams have already been won this year.

England have won the Triple Crown thanks to victories over Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

That 6-13 win at Murrayfield also gave England the Calcutta Cup this year.

Nobody can win the Grand Slam in 2020 as every side has lost at least one game.
