Amad Diallo has Man Utd volunteer willing to help him settle in at Old Trafford

Amad Diallo has completed his move to Manchester United after flying into England to put pen to paper on his contract.

The young winger, who could end up costing United £37million once installments and add-ons are paid, has been looking impressive out in Italy for Atalanta.

He was signed after United tried to bring in Jadon Sancho, and is seen as a long-term option on the right wing.

Diallo was handed the number 19 shirt – Marcus Rashford’s old jersey – upon arrival, and is ready to be selected from next week onwards.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed this week that he is unsure of whether Diallo will join up with the first-team squad or the under-23 side immediately.

But regardless, his new team-mate Eric Bailly has offered to help him out during his introductary stage at the club.

Speaking to the United website, Bailly said he wanted to follow the likes of Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who helped him out when he joined the club in 2016.

He said: "I know Amad. I speak with him.
