Andy Robertson slaps Liverpool team-mate and is immediately ‘full of regret’
Andy Robertson gave Liverpool team-mate Ben Doak a cheeky slap in a training session ahead of their Europa League opener – but the Scotsman immediately regretted his actions.
Jurgen Klopp's side had been participating in a open training session ahead of their clash with Swiss side LASK. And as the squad huddled up, Robertson saw his chance for a little joke.
However, after slapping his young team-mate, Robertson's expression instantly changed. Doak grabbed Robertson's arm, as the Scottish full-back started to back peddle – however, the pair quickly laughed off the incident.

"Andy Robertson actually looks full of regret the minute Doak looks back at him," one fan joked. While a second shared: "Oh sorry sorry don't tell mum vibes…"
"He's f***ed around and found someone just as Scottish as he is," a third said. And another added: "Think Andy over hit that one!"

Both Doak and Robertson were involved in Liverpool's Europa League clash on Thursday evening. The Swiss side shocked the Reds when they raced into an early lead thanks to a superb strike by Florian Flecker from a corner.
However, Klopp's side were able to battle back via the penalty spot, when Darwin Nunez converted from 12 yards. Luis Diaz put Liverpool ahead five minutes later, rounding off a perfect team goal after a cross from new boy Ryan Gravenberch.
And Mohamed Salah, who had come off the bench, put the proverbial icing on the cake off with a superb individual effort, set up by Nunez. The Reds are now top of Group F, with Toulouse and Union Saint-Gilloise drawing in the other group game.
