Rekik is still to have his medical ahead of completing the transfer. He will be part of Arsenal’s U23 squad.
Guendouzi has become surplus to requirements under Mikel Arteta this season after questions were raised over his attitude.
He arrived from Lorient in 2018 for £8million but was in trouble with his boss towards the end of last season after it was reported he taunted Brighton players about their wages during a Premier League game.
Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Daniel Ballard, 21, has joined Blackpool on loan.
