Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a new creative midfielder and central defender to help solve their current malaise in the January transfer window.
After a promising start to the season, Arsenal's campaign has hit the rock with one win in the last six league games and three consecutive defeats at the Emirates.
The poor form has led to question marks about manager Mikel Arteta and the state of his squad which is overly reliant on captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners are short on cash to spend with few sellable assets to recoup funds and next summer a number of players will be out of contract.
But Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai is among the players Arsenal are looking at and he has a €25million release clause.
And according to The Athletic, the Hungarian and another centre-back are high on Arsenal's list of wishlist.
"I think they are quite keen to look at release clauses. A lot has been spoken about Dominik Szoboszlai," Ornstein said.
"But Arsenal won't be the only team in the mix for him.
"There is admiration there but some reservations too.

"He's very young, raw and they need to be absolutely convinced.
"That release clause (€25m) seems incredibly low for a player of his talent and future potential.
"Longer term plans which are geared around the summer of 2021 are on a creative player and No 10.
"Mesut Ozil will be at the end of his contract and heading out of the Emirates Stadium.
"Also a right-sided central defender because David Luiz might be coming to an end, Sokratis and Mustafi could leave as well.
"They may look to escalate that to January if the right opportunities are there."
