Cody Gakpo has said he will ‘calmly’ assess his future this summer but the Arsenal and Liverpool target has not ruled out staying at PSV.
Sportsmail revealed last month the Gunners have held talks with the Dutch international – who is expected to cost between £30million and £40m – over a summer move.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have also been linked with the 23-year-old, who has scored 21 goals and set up 15 in 47 games for PSV this season.

Gakpo has now revealed he is open to a move so long as it does not jeopardise his place in the Holland squad for the Qatar World Cup this winter, having made his debut for his country at Euro 2020.
‘Anything can happen this summer,’ he told Dutch outlet De Telegraaf.
‘I will now calmly compare all the options and see what is best for me. Staying another year is also an option.
‘It would be a shame if I went somewhere where I wouldn’t get a job at all and I could miss the World Cup. I’ll keep that in mind.’

A new study published by the CIES Football Observatory claims Gakpo is in the top five highest-valued players outside of Europe’s ‘Big Five’ leagues with a £42m valuation.
That would not appear to be out of reach for Premier League sides, and Gakpo revealed his desire to play in the English top-flight and his admiration for Arsenal and their record goalscorer Thierry Henry.
‘The Premier League is a big league,’ he told The Sun. ‘Virgil van Dijk plays there with Liverpool so I like to watch them.
‘We are not the same kind of league but I think we try to look at the Prem and learn about it. Everybody wants to play one time in the Prem. I don’t favour one team but I like Arsenal a lot.
If he moves, Gakpo wants assurances of playing time to ensure he makes Louis van Gaal’s Holland World Cup squad
‘I looked up to Henry when I was younger because he was a tall guy who played on the wing.’
Mikel Arteta’s side were strongly linked to the Holland international during the January transfer window following Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang’s departure and their need to strengthen in attack.
However, they were dealt a setback as PSV – who finished second in this season’s Eredivisie – renewed the Dutch star’s contract until 2026 at the start of this year.
But the north London side’s need to strengthen in that area remains, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to depart on free transfers in the summer.
And earlier in the season, PSV’s club’s technical director, John de Jong, admitted Gakpo will eventually leave them.
He said: ‘Gakpo will of course not stay in Eindhoven forever. He will go to a top club in a top league in the future. Or will that happen next summer? That’s hard to say.’
