Arsenal team news: Expected 4-2-3-1 vs West Brom as Mikel Arteta axes Gabriel Martinelli
Arsenal: Arteta previews West Brom clash
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is likely to stick with a similar line-up against West Brom today following back-to-back wins in the Premier League. The Gunners head into the match at the Hawthorns having beaten Chelsea and Brighton in their last two outings. Express Sport have picked a Gunners XI we expect to see line up later.
Goalkeeper – Leno
No surprises here as Bernd Leno will continue in goal having played every minute of the Premier League season so far.
The German picked up a clean sheet at Brighton on Tuesday, just his fourth this season.
But all four have been away from the Emirates so Arsenal will be hoping to build on that impressive record on the road.
Arsenal cannot afford to lose Leno to injury, with Runar Alex Runarsson looking way out of his depth in the appearances he has made in cup competitions.

Defence – Bellerin, Holding, Mari, Tierney
Arteta is likely to stick with the same backline that has started the last two matches.
Hector Bellerin impressed in both outings, as he attempts to win back the support of some Arsenal fans.
Pablo Mari has looked solid alongside Rob Holding, other than giving away a late penalty against Chelsea.
The Spaniard is set to keep his place, with Gabriel still out after testing positive for coronavirus.

Midfield – Ceballos, Xhaka; Smith Rowe
Mohamed Elneny has started the last five Premier League matches, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was given a rest by Arteta.
Dani Ceballos’ extra creativity could well be needed against an Allardyce side that proved at Anfield last week they can defend well, despite the 5-0 mauling by Leeds two days later.
Granit Xhaka is set to partner Ceballos in midfield, with Thomas Partey unlikely to start if he makes the squad following his thigh injury.
Emile Smith Rowe should keep his spot in the No 10 role after impressing in his first two starts of the season.
Attack – Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang
Arsenal fans won’t want to see Gabriel Martinelli left out but that could be the case today after the youngster started the last three games following his serious knee injury.
Alexandre Lacazette will surely start after his match-winning performance off the bench at Brighton.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was poor at the Amex but it would be a bold move by Arteta to drop his captain.
Bukayo Saka was in full training on Friday so should be fit to take up his position on the right where he has been so effective.
Arsenal’s expected XI vs West Brom in full: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Mari, Tierney; Ceballos, Xhaka; Saka, Smith Rowe, Aubameyang; Lacazette.
