Having won plentiful games this season by a margin of just one goal, including last weekend’s home victory over Atletico Madrid, it proved a nice change for Barcelona supporters to see their side three up at the break.
Goals from Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha ensured a very comfortable evening in Catalonia. An own goal by Guido Rodriguez in the 90th minute capped a strong performance.
Leading Real Madrid by 11 points with just six games remaining, it is just a question of when, not if, Barcelona will be anointed champions.
