Burnley win Twitter yet again by announcing signing with Deal Or No Deal mock-up

Burnley have done it again after a simply fantastic announcement video of their latest signing on Deadline Day – this time using a Deal or No Deal mock-up.

The Clarets have been splashing the cash this summer to greet their new manager Vincent Kompany as they look to make an immediate return to the Premier League. Over £20million has been spent on the likes of Anass Zaroury, Josh Cullen and Scott Twine.

The latest arrival has come in the form of Jordan Beyer on loan from Borussia Monchengladbach and the club revealed his arrival in what is quickly becoming a typically brilliant announcement from the Lancashire outfit.

In a post on Twitter, it showed a mocked-up Deal or No Deal video of one of the show's most tense moments. However, instead of cash in the boxes – it was down to either a new signing or no signing.

As it happened, Noel Edmonds lifted the lid to show that it was indeed a new arrival as the confetti cannons blasted. The video then cuts away to Beyer saying: "Deal."

Fans have been loving the announcement, with one saying: "Best announcement video all summer, fair play!" Another wrote: "I guess now I’m a @BurnleyOfficial fan."

"Top tier content," a third posted while this supporter replied: "Genuinely incredible, dying to meet the social team for Burnley."

It follows Burnley's incredible announcement video of Nathan Tella, who joined earlier in the summer. Following in the theme of game show clips, this time it showed Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game, which included a conveyor belt of items such as a crate of Stella and jars of Nutella.
