The Carabao Cup is back for another season of twists and turns, with Manchester City hoping to win the trophy for a fifth consecutive year. After this week’s action, fans can sit back and enjoy another draw for the next round.

The third round draw of the Carabao Cup threw up some mouth-watering ties.

Liverpool were drawn against Premier League rivals Norwich City, while holders City were handed a home tie against Wycombe Wanderers.

Arsenal will face London side AFC Wimbledon, while Wolves will host Tottenham.

There’s another all-Premier League match at Old Trafford, as Manchester United face high-flying West Ham United.

City remain unbeaten in the competition for almost five years now, last losing to cross-city rivals United in the 2016/2017 season.

United were 1-0 winners on the day at Old Trafford, sealing the win with a 54th-minute strike from Juan Mata.

However, City are now aiming for an unprecedented fifth successive EFL Cup win.

No team has matched the Citizens’ record in the competition for almost 40 years.
