Champions League side gift fans free beer after qualifying for knockout stage
Copenhagen celebrated their progression to the Champions League knockout stage by giving their fans free beer.
The Danish champions progressed out of their group for the first time since the 2010/11 season on Tuesday (December 12) night with a 1-0 win over Galatasaray enough to secure second spot behind Bayern Munich.
There were jubilant scenes at their Parken Stadium come the full-time whistle – made all the more wild in the stands by the announcement of complimentary post-match pints for all adults in attendance.

It's not the first time they've done so, with Sevilla's travelling supporters on the receiving end of their kind gesture last year after making the 3,000 mile-round trip to Scandanavia.
