Chelsea ‘ruin fans weekends without even playing’ as Nagelsmann snubs Blues

Chelsea fans have fumed at Julian Nagelsmann – claiming the German ruined their weekend after rejecting the Blues.

Nagelsmann, who was the frontrunner for the Chelsea hot seat, has reportedly pulled out of the race. Fabrizio Romano is reporting the German has withdrawn ahead of the next stages of talks, and he's now 'no longer [considered] available'.

Chelsea are looking for a new boss – with Frank Lampard in charge on an interim basis – after Graham Potter was sacked earlier this month. Nagelsmann had been seemingly the frontrunner, before he pulled out, after Bayern Munich sacked the German a couple of weeks before Potter.

One fan fumed: "No Nagelsmann and no Enrique…. There’s nothing to look forward to anymore. Such an absolute disaster of a club!"

"No Nagelsmann and No Luis Enrique, the only 2 top managers available on the market will not be the next coach of Chelsea, this club is not going down a good path," a second fumed. While a third tweeted: "No Nagelsmann and no Enrique for Chelsea. This clubs a mess man!"

"With Enrique & Nagelsmann out of the race to be the next coach of Chelsea, Boehly should just dissolve the club and issue a public apology," a fourth fumed. And another added: "No Enrique or Nagelsmann?!!?!! That's us now then. F***ed. Disgrace."

Chelsea have suffered a torrid campaign – and the Blues are winless since 11 March, when they beat Leicester City 3-1.

Since then Potter has been sacked, with Lampard yet to get a win during his second spell in the Chelsea hot seat. The Blues have continued to slide down the Premier League table, and they were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

The Blues are currently 11th in the table, 12 points clear of the relegation zone.

After the Blues were knocked out of Europe by Chelsea on Wednesday evening, Lampard fumed at his side's recent performances in his post-match press conference: "Every game you play you have to give everything.

"I've been here now for only two weeks so I'm hungry.I won't let anyone off the hook in terms of seeing this season out. It has to be the opposite."
