Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham admits he’d ‘love’ to play alongside Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
The Chelsea ace has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Stamford Bridge, scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances for the Blues this term.
Abraham’s form has earned him a call-up to England’s national set-up and he scored his first goal for the Three Lions in a 7-0 win against Montenegro.
That’s given Abraham the opportunity to see Rashford up close and the Chelsea ace says he’s the player that’s most impressed him on national duty.
‘Who impressed me when I’ve been with England? Marcus Rashford,’ Abraham told COPA90.
‘The way he strikes a ball. His skills. His good feet. The way he beats players.
‘He’s just a joy to watch. I’d love to [play up front with him]’
With football suspended across Europe, most players are desperate to get back to competition.
However, Rashford is one of the few players that could find a positive in the suspension on a purely sporting level.
The forward was ruled out for the majority of the season when he fractured his back in February and he faced a race against time to play again this term.
However, Rashford recently stepped up his recovery and is closing on a return to fitness.
