Tottenham misfit Christian Eriksen expects to complete a £15m move to Inter Milan in the next few days.
The Serie A side have submitted an improved offer for Eriksen and his agent is now in Milan to finalise the deal.
Spurs were holding out for at least £17m for the midfielder, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
And they rejected an initial bid from the Italians of just £8.5m out of hand as derisory for a player of his worth.
But Inter director Piero Ausilio flew to London for talks earlier this week and a new offer of up to £15m including add-ons looks set to break the deadlock.

But Spurs want him gone before the January transfer window closes and the 27-year-old has now agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Inter.
The Italians are also closing in on a cut-price £4.3m move for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, who has also already agreed personal terms on a deal until 2022.
