Dani Dyer responds to crude Jarrod Bowen song after West Ham ace fumed at fan

West Ham fans line streets to toast Europa Conference League champions

Jarrod Bowen’s partner, Dani Dyer, has reacted to a viral chant from West Ham fans referencing the pair’s sexual relations. The Hammers star has been the toast of east London since netting the winner against Fiorentina in Wednesday’s Europa Conference League final, sealing the club’s first European trophy in 58 years.

Only a chosen few West Ham supporters were privileged to witness the 2-1 triumph, with an official allocation of less than 5,000 in Prague’s Fortuna Arena. All appeared to be going to plan when Said Benrahma fired them ahead from the penalty spot.

Giacomo Bonaventura equalised for the Italian side just five minutes later, but Bowen raced beyond the last line of defence to rubber stamp his immortal moment in the game’s dying embers as he slotted past Pietro Terracciano.

Jubilant scenes erupted inside the stadium, and after the match, Bowen was forced to shoo away a lairy fan who interrupted his post-game interview with a chant about him ‘s******g Dani Dyer’.

Dyer, a former Love Island contestant, has now addressed the chant herself by reposting a video uploaded to Instagram by Flynn Downes’ partner, Summer Godbold, which showed Hammers fans in full voice with the caption: “I’m sorry Dani [crying face emoji].”

She also addressed the chant after the final home game of the Premier League season, admitting that she ‘doesn’t mind’ after supporters directed it towards the couple during the squad’s lap of honour.

Dyer’s celebrity father, Danny, has also given his take on the song, which is set to the tune of ‘Freed From Desire’ by Gala Rizzatto. “I think there’s a bit of romance in it,” he told DR Sports. “Think about it… it’s a compliment. They’re saying Bowen is on fire which is unreal. And he’s also s******g Dani Dyer.

“So if you think about it, they’re saying it can’t get any better. So there’s a compliment in there. Listen, sometimes I start the song off before the other West Ham fans, I’m not even going to lie.”

Scoring the winner in Prague was a euphoric way for Bowen to finish a season which, by his standards, was relatively disappointing in front of goal. The 26-year-old only managed six in the Premier League as West Ham spluttered to a 14th-place finish.

But manager David Moyes’ Conference League heroics mean that the Hammers will be back in European football next season as they sealed automatic qualification for the Europa League.
