England squad announced as Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden dropped by Southgate

England boss Gareth Southgate has dropped Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden from his latest squad following their Iceland antics.

The two youngsters were sent home from Three Lions duty last time after they broke quarantine protocol by inviting girls to their rooms.

They missed the Nations League clash with Denmark and have not been included in the latest squad with England set to play three matches.

Southgate’s men face Wales in a friendly on October 8, before Nations League clashes against Belgium and Denmark on October 11 and 14 respectively.

Southgate said: "They (Greenwood and Foden) are two very talented players.

"I think with what happened, we have to send a message to players in all our teams that that isn't how we do things with England.

"But we have to rehabilitate these two boys. They've suffered, and they need a period of reflection. Get back with their clubs and start enjoying their football again.”

Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has already bagged two hat-tricks this season, has received his first call-up.

Leicester ace Harvey Barnes and Arsenal defender Bukayo Saka have also been included in a senior squad for the first time.

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is also back having been withdrawn from the last squad.

The 27-year-old had been given a suspended prison sentence on the Greek island of Syros after being found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery. He has appealed the decision though, nullifying the conviction.
