- It was feared that he may miss out on the Fulham clash due to the paperwork
Chelsea’s new £107million signing Enzo Fernandez is available to play in their Premier League clash against Fulham this evening, as the paperwork has been completed.
Fernandez’s stunning move had been agreed in the last minutes of the transfer window as both clubs spent Tuesday locked in talks to try and get the move wrapped up.
It was feared due to the deal being rushed through in the final stages that the Argentine may have had to wait to make his debut, as his international clearance was yet to go through as of yesterday.
His paperwork is signed and sealed, meaning he is in contention for Blues boss Graham Potter, according to TyC Sports.
The Argentina World Cup winner, who joined for a British record fee, is now expected to feature for Chelsea in some form of capacity this evening at Stamford Bridge.

Fernandez was named best young player as Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar last year, and could help revive a flagging Chelsea season that has seen them slump to 10th in the league.
Speaking to the club website after arriving, Fernandez said: ‘Chelsea is a big club, it’s a club that is always fighting for trophies and has won the Champions League in recent years. Together, we will look to achieve everything the club wants and take it to the next level.
‘Myself and my family are really happy to be here in London and to be able to enjoy the city. I think it’s a really beautiful city, so we will enjoy it and have a good time.
‘I haven’t yet played against any of my new team-mates and I haven’t yet had the chance to chat with any of them but I do know who they are and I’m looking forward to working with them all!’
Potter faces a selection headache for this evening’s clash and it could be interesting to see how many of his new signings he deploys against their west London rivals.

The Blues were busy during the transfer window, having signed Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, Mykhailo Mudryk, David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto for a record January outlay of £323m.
Majority of those stars will be available for selection while quartet Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are also back in contention after returning from injury.
Potter admitted in his pre-match press conference yesterday: ‘[They] are in the squad, not able to play 90 minutes but they are in the squad.
‘Wesley [Fofana] is training with the squad but he will step up. We’re still without the others.’
Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic, Armando Broja and Denis Zakaria all remain sidelined.
