Eric Bailly has moved to calm nervous Manchester United fans by playing down his injury scare on Thursday night.
The centre-back has only just returned to full fitness, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer starting him in the recent 6-1 loss to Tottenham.
Bailly was out for roughly 150 days last year after undergoing knee surgery and also missed 21 games in the 2017/18 campaign with an ankle problem.
His track record isn't healthy.
And so when fans saw images of Bailly on the turf before being replaced in the 69th minute of Ivory Coast's friendly against Belgium they began to worry.
The defender started in the 1-1 draw but was withdrawn and replaced by Odilon Kossounou.
Bailly, though, has simply said it was just fatigue.
"Thank you for worrying about me, but I’m doing well." he posted on Instagram. "Just fatigue. Goodnight to you all and God protect us."
He then added: "Congratulations to my team for the match against the first ranked team [Belgium are #1 in the FIFA rankings as things stand]!"
"Eric is fit again," confirmed Solskjaer when hinting the Ivorian could partner Harry Maguire at the back.
"Which is a big bonus for us and I’m looking forward to seeing him develop and play more games this season because we’ve been waiting for him to… well, first, be fit and then to play more regularly."
