Chelsea target Erling Haaland reportedly enquired about the latest over his future in a jokey way while training with Borussia Dortmund. The Norway international is Thomas Tuchel’s top transfer target. And Roman Abramovich is also an admirer, with the Russian prepared to sanction a massive £150million deal.
Chelsea are sold on the signing of Haaland.
Despite winning the Champions League last time out, Tuchel is eager for the Blues to secure the signing of the Borussia Dortmund star.
That’s certainly understandable, with the 21-year-old scoring an outrageous 40 goals across all competitions last term – with 10 coming in Europe’s top club competition alone.
Chelsea are expected to try and test Dortmund’s resolve over the Norway international as they look to win the Premier League title next season.
But Haaland doesn’t seem fazed by the speculation.
Sky Deutschland’s Jesco van Eichmann has revealed Haaland asked him what the latest was with his future, before insisting he wasn’t worth the fee being quoted.

Football Daily uploaded the clip, with van Eichmann saying: “I had a little chat with him today, actually. He just passed by and asked me, ‘Hey are there any news about me?’
“I said, ‘No, actually, no. Chelsea still at £150 [million].’ And he was smiling and said, ‘No, I’m not that worth’.”
Haaland is known for being a bit of a joker.
And it seems he’s fully focused on the upcoming season with Dortmund, instead of letting the speculation get to him.
Chelsea aren’t the only club admire Haaland but, as thing stand, they do appear to be the only team pushing vigorously to secure the signing of the former Red Bull Salzburg star.
Manchester United are interested but, having splurged big money on Jadon Sancho already, aren’t expected to go after the striker this summer.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both strapped for cash following the coronavirus crisis, with the La Liga giants keeping their spending to a minimum.
And Paris Saint-Germain are currently prioritising a new contract for Kylian Mbappe, with the France international having just a year left on his current deal to run.
Chelsea have been linked with Romelu Lukaku as a potential Haaland alternative.
But Express Sport understands the Belgium international is happy at Inter Milan and unwilling to leave the San Siro behind.
Chelsea have already paved the way for a new forward to arrive.

Olivier Giroud has been cut loose, with the France international moving to Serie A titans AC Milan.
And Tammy Abraham could be next, with the England international on the radars of Arsenal and West Ham at the current moment in time.
Meanwhile, former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino has backed his old side to sign a marquee name before the transfer window slams shut in five weeks’ time.
He said on the talkSPORT Breakfast: “Chelsea have earned a lot of money in the last year or so, with the Champions League and selling Eden Hazard.
“I cannot believe they’re not going to break the bank and sign someone like Haaland.
“They are going to do a really big transfer, in my opinion.
“It’s been so quiet, the storm is coming – because Roman [Abramovich] has always done it, he’s always backed the club.
“I would be absolutely gobsmacked if they go in with the squad they’ve got today, even though they are European champions.
“Giroud has gone, Tammy is rumoured to be leaving as well, they’re making space.
“For them to do that, they are planning a mind-boggling transfer, and I think it will be Haaland.
“They’re going to offer big money for somebody and I suspect it would be him.”
