Manchester City's new superstar Erling Haaland is already the odds-on favourite to win the Golden Boot in his debut season.
Haaland arrives on British shores with one of the most potent attacking records in recent history. The Norwegian found the net 62 times in 67 Bundesliga outings for Borussia Dortmund – while he has a further 23 Champions League goals to his name.
Betfair have placed Haaland at 4/1 to continue his goalscoring form under Pep Guardiola – making him by far the favourite. The site have also placed last season's joint winner Mohamed Salah as second favourite at 9/2, with Harry Kane in third.
Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is ranked fifth on the list as he enters a second season at Old Trafford since his return.
Despite playing in a faltering Red Devils side, and under two managers over the course of the season, Ronaldo finished third in the top goalscorer rankings. The Portuguese megastar notched 18 times in 30 games.
In doing so, Ronaldo outscored both Kane and Sadio Mane last season.
