Everton could be set for another Premier League points deduction.
Toffees fans were left heartbroken when Everton were docked 10 points by an independent commission after admitting breaking the division's financial rules, allowing for losses of no more than £105m over three seasons. Everton said they were "shocked and disappointed" by the ruling and have vowed to appeal.
However, all clubs in the division have to submit their accounts for the 2022-23 season to the Premier League before December 31. And it's reported that chiefs at the Merseyside club are concerned they will be landed in trouble again if the same calculation system used in their previous charge is applied once more.

According to the Times, there are concerns the club could be docked more points than the 10 already taken from them. The deduction resulted in Everton dropping down to 19th position, where they are only ahead of Burnley on goal difference.
Everton's first punishment centred on interest payable loans that were taken out for the construction of their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

The Toffees' calculations said they had £18m of headroom, whole a pre-hearing on October 4 contradicted their claims by stating their own accounting practices instead found they had overspent by £7.9m.
Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Manchester and a season ticket holder at Goodison Park, challenged the validity of the decision in an open letter. He said: “I would say the process should be declared null and void because of the regulatory malpractice of introducing new rules in the middle of a process.” However, Premier League chairwoman Alison Britain said the league "entirely refutes" his claims.
Everton fans protested the punishment during their 3-0 home loss to Manchester United. Fans held up pink cards which had the Premier League logo and "corrupt" emblazoned over them.
The Premier League initially suggested a six points deduction plus another point for every £5m they overspent – Everton were found guilty of a £19.5m breach of the rules – but this was dismissed by the independent commission.
