Fans despair with Chelsea loanee Bakayoko as he makes more mistakes

‘Some things just never change’: Fans despair with Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko as he makes two more glaring errors during AC Milan’s win over Genoa

  • Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko struggled again for AC Milan in Serie A
  • The midfielder made two glaring errors in the 2-1 victory at home to Genoa
  • Some AC Milan supporters are calling for Bakayoko to be sent back to Chelsea

Tiemoue Bakayoko may be away from Chelsea on loan, but the midfielder is still receiving a considerable amount of criticism for his performances.

Bakayoko is currently on a season-long loan at AC Milan and matters certainly haven’t gone to plan so far for the Frenchman.

During Milan’s 2-1 victory over Genoa in Serie A on Wednesday night Bakayoko saw his struggles continue as he made two terrible errors.

Firstly, Bakayoko’s incredibly risky back-pass led to team-mate Alessio Romagnoli scoring an own goal in the 56th minute.

Later the 24-year-old squandered an inviting opportunity to find the net as he sent an effort well wide of the target.

Unsurprisingly, Bakayoko’s actions prompted a backlash on social media, with supporters heavily critical of his performance.

One user wrote: ‘Everytime he touches the ball it turns in to a disaster in some way’.

Others, meanwhile, expressed hope that Bakayoko will soon be heading back to Chelsea.

Another user wasn’t exactly surprised by Bakayoko’s struggles, stating ‘Some things just never change’.

Another recalled, with bewilderment, when Bakayoko stated that he was better than Chelsea team-mate N’Golo Kante.

Milan possess an option to make Bakayoko’s loan move permanent next summer but at present it seems very unlikely that they will take that up.

Gennaro Gattuso’s team, who are in fourth place in Serie A, are back in action on Sunday when they face Udinese away.
