Eagle-eyed fans noticed an edit that Erling Haaland made to his latest social media upload – in the form of cropping out a Manchester City team-mate.
In the official snap the 52-goal forward posed shirtless alongside ripped colleague Manuel Akanji – who was nowhere to be seen on Haaland's Instagram after it was cropped on just the striker and the Champions League trophy.
Fans hypothesised that Haaland cropped out the defender because he looked better than him on the open-topped bus – with the 22-year-old also dropping on a filter that made his muscles look even more pronounced.
One eagle-eyed follower said: "Dude cropped Akanji. He knew he looked better than him." A second said: "Hey where's my brother Akanji? Lad got sliced out."

A third fan posted: "Akanji?" A fourth added: "Bro why you crop AKANJI out?" A fifth then asked: "You had to crop out Akanji?"
Many other comments referred to Haaland as a real-life viking, asking the young forward to grow a beard and get some tattoos to complete the package.
Despite the absence of the Switzerland international, Haaland's post brought in 1.8million likes in just over an hour with this profile going from strength-to-strength.

One comical moment on the bus came between Haaland and star of the show Jack Grealish, who admitted on stage that he hadn't yet been to bed.
Heading to the final stop, Haaland poured champagne over Grealish's enviable locks – laughing when the England international looked down the lens of the camera.
A fan laughed in response: "I’m screaming! Not the hair, don’t touch the hair."

Haaland put his shirt back on as the players got on stage, having been forced to wring out the water in the torrential weather.
It was again Grealish who would steal the limelight, saying on the microphone: "Right I'm a turkey and the turkey needs feeding."
