Gillingham vs Scunthorpe preview
Gillingham will be without captain Gabriel Zakuani when they host Scunthorpe.
The centre-back hobbled off during the second half of last Saturday’s 4-1 defeat by Barnsley with an ankle ligament injury.
Zakuani needs surgery and looks likely to miss the rest of the season. Dean Parrett and Callum Reilly are fit again but Alex Lacey is still out injured.
Scunthorpe striker Lee Novak is likely to be rested after feeling his hamstring against Accrington last weekend. The Iron are still without James Perch through suspension.
Defender Perch completes a two-game ban after picking up his 10th yellow card of the season in their defeat by Barnsley a fortnight ago. Rory Watson, Ryan Colclough, Jordan Clarke, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Josh Morris are long-term absentees.
