- Pep Guardiola faces the prospect of facing Tottenham without a crucial trio
- Rodri was injured in Wednesday night’s FA Cup win away against Swansea
- Guardiola said after the game he had no update on the injury from City’s doctor
- Ruben Dias sat out the cup tie as he ‘has a fever and a problem with his stomach’
Pep Guardiola faces a nervous wait to see if he will be able to call upon Rodri, Ruben Dias and Fernandinho to face Tottenham on Saturday as all three battle injury.
Dias and Fernandinho were not included in the matchday squad for Wednesday night’s 3-1 FA Cup fifth-round win against Swansea, while Rodri was forced off injured after 72 minutes.
Victory took City’s winning run to 15 games but Guardiola is unsure if three players crucial to that run will be available to him upon a return to Premier League action.

‘I didn’t speak with Rodri but the doctor didn’t tell me anything so hopefully he’ll be fit,’ Guardiola said after the Swansea win. ‘We will see in the next hours.
On the condition of Dias, who has transformed City’s defence since arriving from Benfica in the summer, Guardiola said: ‘Ruben had a fever and still has a problem with his stomach. That’s why he was not able to train yesterday and today we travelled.
‘Fernandinho had some niggles in the quad and he was not able to play.’

Sergio Aguero has been a long-term injury absentee for City this season and Guardiola will be hopeful the trio are cleared to face Tottenham.
City will be seeking retribution having lost the return fixture in north London earlier this season.
Wednesday’s win over Swansea was the first match the in-form Dias has missed since he made the move to the Etihad Stadium.
City managed fine without him and Fernandinho on the night as City booked their spot in the quarter-finals once more.
Kyle Walker scored the opening goal while Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus added distance between themselves and their Championship hosts.
Victory saw Guardiola notch his 200th win as City manager. The Catalan has been in charge for just 268 matches.
