Harry Kane and wife Kate among guests as ex-Spurs star Ryan Mason gets married

Harry Kane and wife Kate were both present at his former manager and team-mate Ryan Mason's wedding earlier this month.

Kane shared a snap on his Instagram wearing a suave suit as he posed with his wife on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Kane said: "Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Mason @ryan8mason @rachelspeters. Thank you for letting us be part of your special day!"

The snap earned over 68,000 likes as the pair posed in front of a picturesque backdrop. The 31-year-old tied the knot with long-term fiancée, and stunning model, Rachel Peters on Tuesday on the Spanish islands.

The loved-up couple also took to social media to share snaps of their special day.

Mason posted two images, one of the couple walking away from the lavish ceremony as the audience clapped. And a second as the pair cut their wedding cake, he captioned the post: "21/06/2022 Finally get to call you my wife @rachelspeters," with a love heart.

Rachael also shared a number of images from the event, including an intimate snap of the couple's first dance.

Mason and Rachael have been engaged since 2017 – the same year Mason suffered a life-threatening injury that forced him to walk away from football.

The midfielder underwent emergency neurosurgery after a sickening clash of heads with Gary Cahill in January 2017. Mason faced a long road to recovery, and he has since taken up a coaching role at Tottenham.

He was in the dugout for Spurs' Carabao Cup final with Manchester City during the 2020/21 season after the Lilywhites sacked Jose Mourinho.
