’I think my finish today just sums up what I’ve learnt from him. If I keep talking about how much I’ve learnt and how much of an influence he’s been on me everyone would get bored,’ Elliott told TNT Sports.
‘Ever since I came through the first door he’s always been by my side, looked after me and its just a pleasure to share the pitch with such a legend.
‘He deserves getting his 200th goal today. no one works as hard as him – and as I said it just sums him up.’
