Jack Grealish and Bruno Fernandes partnership leaves ‘no room for Paul Pogba’

Manchester United hero Lee Sharpe believes signing Jack Grealish would end Paul Pogba’s Old Trafford career.

United have been regularly linked with a move for Aston Villa star Grealish while there has been constant talk that Pogba could leave the club.

The Frenchman has made a limited number of appearances this season having struggled with injury following a summer of transfer speculation.

Real Madrid and Juventus are believed to be keen on the World Cup winner, who is thought to be nearing a return having last played in December.

And with Pogba’s future seemingly up in the air, there has been plenty of speculation that Grealish could head to Old Trafford.

And Sharpe believes that he could form a formidable partnership in midfield with January recruit Bruno Fernandes, ending Pogba’s United career for a second time.

Sharpe, speaking exclusively to GentingBet, said: “It has been reported that United are in the box seat to sign Jack Grealish. Can Grealish take United to a different level?

“Jack Grealish is a class act. I love watching him play, I think he is fantastic on the ball, his vision and awareness are absolutely second to none.

“And I am guessing he would be there to replace Pogba.

“If Grealish comes and they are playing Fernandes, there is no room in the team really for someone like Pogba, I think that is probably a little bit too many creative players.

“I think Grealish would do great at United; I think at the moment, he can be very much singled out as the main attacking threat for Villa, and you can get a player or two on him all the time.

“At United, with a couple more better players around him, I think he will get a little bit more freedom, a little bit more space to create and do his stuff.

“So, I think he will be a great addition to the squad.”

Portuguese ace Fernandes has impressed since signing from Sporting Lisbon last month, already scoring three goals for United.
